We are looking for volunteers to assist in organising a fundraising event. This could be an event of your choice, such as a quiz night, or supporting the organising of a stall at a community event.

Key Responsibilities:

This is a project based role to work on a one-off event. It could be to organise and manage a fundraiser, such as a quiz night or barn dance. If so, there is the opportunity to make it your own and manage the project from start to finish. Tasks would include sourcing a venue, putting together the activity (which may include booking a band or entertainer), arranging catering, managing bookings and organising a raffle.

Alternatively it could be working as part of a team to support the running of a stall at a community event. This could include gathering volunteers to support the stall, creating an activity to encourage donations (eg. a tombola) and manning the stand on the day.

In addition, you could be involved in researching ideas for future fundraisers and coming up with ways to bring donations to the charity.

The role is hybrid-remote- some home working but there will be a need to travel to Yateley.

What skills do I need?
