We are looking to make additions to our current team of volunteers - volunteering at our ‘Creative Club’ youth club sessions for 11-18 year olds. The club is held term-time only at the youth suite on the green in Yateley, Hampshire.
Commitment is just once or twice a month depending on your preference and the role involves engaging with our young people, setting and clearing up, assisting with the activities and working with a great team of youth workers. The role is on a rota basis so there is no weekly commitment.
The session is all about making crafts, being creative and learning new skills. Activities undertaken include sewing, painting, cooking, building items, photography and much more. If you have any crafting skills to pass on to the young people that would be an added bonus, but not a requirement to join the team.
Ability to interact with the young people and work well as a team. Sense of humour and willingness to have fun is key!
Volunteers need to be 18+ but we are happy to take 16/17 year olds as 'Young Leaders' to help out with setting up etc.
