We are looking for trustees to join our board.....

The Victoria Hall Charity is responsible for managing both the Victoria and Jubilee halls in Hartley Wintney. The Victoria Halls are an important part of our community requiring a dedicated team of trustees to create a vibrant place of entertainment and activities for the benefit of the whole community and thereby ensuring the halls' long term future.

Become a member of this team and enable this to happen through the development of strategic plans and their implementation. We are particularly looking for someone with marketing experience to lead a small team dedicated to promoting and marketing the halls  activities through a variety of channels

The role involves contributing your skills and some time each month, working with our salaried administrator, care takers and other trustees, to manage, control and promote the villages halls.

The time commitment is around 2–3 hours per week including quarterly board meetings which are held in the evenings. We also have occasional sub-committee meetings that the treasurer maybe required to attend.

What skills do I need?

Marketing experience

Have good listening, verbal and written communication skills.

Be able to exercise good independent judgment and if necessary to make difficult recommendations.

Enthusiam to 'get involved'.

We are not just looking to recruit new board members from residents of the village and would welcome enquiries from across the area.

Availability Details

The role is very flexible with most communication undertaken by phone and email. We hold quarterly board meetings in the Victoria Hall which are generally early evening from around 7.30pm.
