Are there any specific policies we need to have in place?

As an organisation you will need to have:

  • have a written policy on the suitability of ex-offenders and make it available to applicants on request. A template can be accessed here
  • a policy on the secure handling of information from DBS and make all applicants aware of the arrangements, providing a copy on request.
