As a Grants Volunteer, you'll work closely with our chairperson to:
• Research Funding Opportunities: Identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources that align with our organization's mission and programs.
• Assist with Grant Applications: Help with drafting, editing, and compiling materials for grant proposals, including project descriptions, budgets, and supporting documents. • Maintain Records: Organize and update our grants calendar and database to track deadlines, submission statuses, and reporting requirements.
• Support Follow-Up: Help with preparing grant reports and thank-you letters for funders.
A strong interest in non-profit work, fundraising, and community development. Excellent writing, editing, and research skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) or Google Workspace is a plus.
You will be provided with full support to enable you to get up and running in the role.

This role is flexible and will fit in with you existing commitments. This could be a home based role or working out of our Chineham location.
