Register your interestAfter a successful first year, we're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help shape and grow the Green Fringe Festival for next year. The Green Fringe Festival is a celebration of nature, creativity, community and wellbeing, bringing together organisations, artists, community groups and volunteers to deliver a programme of outdoor events across Rushmoor. Volunteers are at the heart of the Green Fringe Festival, and we're looking for someone to help them have a fantastic experience. As Volunteer Co-ordinator, you'll work with event volunteers to coordinate rotas and help ensure every event has the support it needs. You'll also help brief volunteers before the festival and be a friendly point of contact throughout. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys organising people, solving problems and helping others feel welcome and valued. Most planning takes place before the festival, with opportunities to be involved during the event itself.

Planning meetings usually take place monthly in the afternoon (ideally Tuesdays) from September to June, becoming more frequent in the months leading up to the festival at the end of May. Most volunteering can be completed flexibly from home, with opportunities to get involved during the festival itself. There is the option to meet at the Council Office or to join on Microsoft Teams.
This opportunity can be carried out whilst working from home.
