Local to Hartley Wintney? Fancy getting involved in village life but at a time to suit you? Could you lend a hand but only when you fancy it....?
As a busy team of volunteers managing and ensuring the smooth running of our two village halls we are always looking for extra pairs of hands to help at our numerous events.
Activities range from helping arrange chairs for meetings, washing up and tidying in the kitchen to, if you're lucky, a stint behind the bar! Now who doesn't fancy an odd hour or two pretending you're running the 'Queen Vic'?
We're looking to form a ' bank' of volunteers that can 'pick and choose' when they help.
When opportunities arise, you will be contacted via email (all GDPR compliant no email sharing!) to find out whether you are interested in helping. If you are great, if not simply delete the email as there is no pressure to help if you are busy or simply don't fancy that particular activity.
Why not give it a go.....?
As a 'one off' volunteer role no specific skills required as these vary from role to role.
Enthusiasm!
Ideally volunteers are 16+ but we are happy to consider volunteers on an individual basis especially those undertaking their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award.

The majority of the help we need will be at weekends and evenings - although as the hall is rented most days there is often the opportunity to volunteer almost any day.
