Volunteer Advocacy Manager (Sabbatical Cover)

The Equal Skies project is Aerobility’s national initiative to improve disability inclusion across aviation and aerospace. We are looking for a volunteer to help coordinate the programme while our Advocacy Manager is on sabbatical. The role involves supporting partnership activity, helping to organise small events, managing communications and social media updates, and contributing to the development of our new Equal Skies Network and mentoring offer. You will work closely with our CEO and a small volunteer team, with flexibility to complete most tasks remotely. Your support will help maintain momentum in a key year of growth and make a real difference to disabled people aspiring to work in aviation.

We are looking for cover until mid/late 2026.

What skills do I need?

• Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Able to build and maintain relationships with partners.
• Comfortable working independently and using initiative.
• Interest in inclusion and disability equality.
• Familiarity with social media or event support is helpful but not essential.
• Enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive approach are the most important qualities.
