Event Volunteer for Firework Spectacular - Saturday 7th November

Hatch Warren Community Centre are organising their annual Firework Display on Saturday 7th November and are looking for volunteers to help ensure that the evening is a great success. 

They are looking for help with the following:

  • Marshal's 4.50pm - 9pm -Your role will be to help keep everyone safe and ensure they enjoy the show. (Full guidance will be provided) You will be allocated a zone to marshal and will accompany a regular team member. On arrival at 4.50pm, there will be a security briefing.
  • At the end of the evening, between 8pm and 9pm, you will be helping to pack away the orange fencing, bringing in the 'No Parking' cones and rubbish bins. Taking down the gazebos and bringing in trestle tables from the Glow Tent and DJ. You will be bringing in the red barriers from the front exit and litter picking the site.



What skills do I need?

No specific skills required but an enjoyment of speaking to people and generally helping out as required would be very beneficial.

If you have a torch, please bring it along.

You will be given a hard hat and hi-vis vest while you are volunteering.

if you want to meet the team in daylight we will be setting up the fencing at 9am, just come along and ask for Clare or Mike.
