Event Volunteer - Christmas Market Sunday 22nd November

For Hatch Warren & Beggarwood Community Association

We have our annual Christmas Market running on Sunday 22nd November between 12pm and 4pm and Santa and his Elves will be joining us once again. We are looking for volunteers who would love to make this a magical experience for our local community. We have various roles:

Setting up the event - from 9am - You will be helping us arrange tables, chairs and decorations.
Trader Welcome Team - from 10am - You will be greeting our lovely stallholders and helping them get settled in
Customer Welcome Team - Midday - 2pm & 2pm -4pm - You will be greeting visitors and spreading festive cheer.
Grotto Guides - Midday - 2pm & 2pm -4pm - You will be helping our little guests find their way safely to Santa's Grotto
Kitchen & Bar Helpers - Midday - 4pm - You will be helping serve refreshments, including our delicious mulled wine at the licensed bar.
Pack Down Crew - 4pm - 6pm - Once the festivities are over and we have waived goodbye to Santa, you will be helping clear the centre, ready for the Monday pre school group.

When you apply, we will discuss with you the roles that you could choose to help us with and when you are needed.

You will be making a huge contribution to this event and it's success.

What skills do I need?

Have plenty of Christmas joviality about you and a sense of fun.

If you are interested in a role at the bar, front desk or an elf, to name just a few of our roles, you will need to be friendly and love to engage with people.

If you are setting up and clearing down, you will need some stamina.

You will be provided with full support throughout the time you are volunteering.
