As a Community First Aider, you’ll deliver first aid to those in need through local events, as well as provide education to the public so that the ripple effect of First Aid grows.
We are a local network dedicated to certain areas of Hart and Rushmoor and, as such, you will need to be able to travel in the area and rarely outside for training or large events.
Physical fitness for a role which requires moving around an event, and treating people (including the ability to kneel by a collapsed patient and deliver effective chest compressions for at least two minutes without stopping).
SJA provide essential training including safeguarding, health & safety and GDPR. Out of pocket expenses.

We require volunteers to commit to at least 80 hours per year, roughly one day per month. Volunteers will provide local event, education and fundraising support (approximately fortnightly) on a booked basis and based on volunteer availability. Additionally, we hold unit meetings every Wednesday evening at the local hub.
