You will be an essential part of creating a welcoming and fun event, offering guidance and support to people coming for a great day out. If you can stand for a few hours, offer a warm smile and stay calm in a busy environment, this role is for you!
Roles available:
- Volunteer Coordinatior - Lead volunteer on each shift responsible for rota management, volunteer welfare, and acting as the main contact for organisers.
- Way Maker - Friendly on-the-ground volunteers who welcome, guide, and support attendees around the event, with some acting as 'runners' for organisers when needed.
About Armed Forces Day
Rushmoor Borough Council are delighted to be hosting this prestigious event to honour the history and current service of the Armed Forces. The weekend will be a unique opportunity for everyone to enjoy a weekend of spectacular events and celebrations, bringing the community and Armed Forces together. By volunteering, you will be an essential part of creating a welcoming and fun event, offering guidance and support to people coming for a great day out.
