Do you love books?
Would you like to make a difference by taking books and audio books to people?
Are you someone who would like to help out older and isolated people in your community?
The Home Library Service needs volunteers to choose appropriate books and library items for individuals, deliver them, and collect them when they've been read.
This service is for those who can't get to the local library to borrow books due to ill health/mobility problems or caring responsibilities.
As a volunteer for the Home Library Service you can enhance somebody's life not only through the library materials that you take for them, but also through your companionship and contact you give them with the outside world.
If you are a friendly, reliable person with your own transport, contact us to find out how you can give a small amount of time to make a big difference.
