Local to Heckfield? Are you free on the afternoon of the 4th June? Could you spare a couple of hours to help a local friendship group, between 2pm and 4pm? Then why not give this taster session a try? The friendship group are welcoming volunteers to attend a one-off session to see if they would like to get more involved in helping the group. There is no obligation to continue volunteering following the session. 

During the group session, volunteers can help with group activities, have a cuppa and a chat or just help with the washing up. 

What skills do I need?

Volunteers will ideally:

  • Be confident and happy to talk to members and visitors
  • Possess a responsible and sensitive manner
  • Show a willingness to get involved in many different tasks and 'muck in'
  • Be 18 or older
  • Respect confidentiality when required
