To provide administrative support to the Board of Trustees, ensuring smooth running of governance processes and effective communication across the charity.

Coordinate meeting schedules and send calendar invites to trustees, prepare agendas in consultation with the Chair, circulate papers in advance via SharePoint, take accurate minutes, and distribute action points following meetings.

Maintain the charity’s policy register on SharePoint, coordinate policy reviews and updates, ensure compliance documentation is current and properly stored, and handle general administrative correspondence.

Coordinate AGM logistics including venue, notices to members, preparation of annual reports and accounts for presentation, and ensure all statutory requirements are met.

 Approximately 4-6 hours per month, with additional time around trustee meetings (typically quarterly) and the AGM. Remote working possible for most tasks.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

What skills do I need?

Good written and organisational skills, ability to take clear minutes, comfortable using Microsoft Office and SharePoint, understanding of charity governance is helpful but not essential.
