Would you like to support older people in our community who cannot easily get out and about using your own car?

Every day we receive requests from people with limited mobility who need to attend medical appointments, go to a dentist or an optician, or take part in exercise and social clubs and go shopping

An essential feature of our service is our drivers wait for clients and take them home

Most of our requests are for week days but we need some drivers at weekends

You:

  • Use your own car - we reimburse your total mileage at 45p a mile.
  • Choose when you are free to volunteer, from a few hours a week to just once a month
  • Can drive short trips locally
  • You will need to have a car that is fully insured, taxed, has a valid MOT
