We have recently started a Community Hub in Popley, and during these sessions we will be having a game of bingo with our customers ( at 11am). We are recruiting a volunteer bingo
caller for this role, they will be a friendly, welcoming face to our customers, making them feel comfortable so they can
enjoy the game.
The Community Hub runs on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays every month and is a vital link which offers older members of our community an opportunity to socialise and meet others. The Hub offers a wide selection of cakes, toasted tea cakes, and light snacks along with a freshly prepared hot lunch and pudding.
What will I be doing?
As a Bingo caller, you will be:
• Setting up the activity
• Calling out the numbers with clarity, energy and enthusiasm
• Creating a welcoming, fun and engaging environment for the customers.
• Assist in presenting prizes to the winners.
We are looking for people who are comfortable engaging in conversation and who:

✓ Have attention to detail to ensure accuracy when calling numbers
✓ Enjoy calling bingo
✓ Have a clear voice
✓ Enjoy working as part of a team

The Community Hub runs on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month. Bingo starts at 11am and finishes at 11:45am. We request a minimum commitment of once or twice a month.
