The Voluntary Sector Strategic Partnership is a new partnership that aims to create a clear mechanism for collective capture and dissemination of information from across the VCSE sector. This partnership is made up of 6 networks and will act as the vehicle for strategic engagement with the VCSE sector amongst statutory partners and other key stakeholders.
The VSSP will be held monthly, with each “Network” group attending twice a year – with the agenda focussed around four key outcomes:
Community Venues play an increasingly important role in bringing local communities together. They offer a focal point for neighbourhood activities and a base for local groups. This network will be an opportunity for those running and supporting the Community Venues in the local area to come together and discuss what the current needs are. This is a chance to participate in a community-focused discussion.

The Healthy Ageing network is a network of local statutory and voluntary organisations that provide services and support to older people in the borough. This network aims to provide a strategic view across the borough of the provision for older people and increase collaboration with local organisations to facilitate projects to improve provision within local communities.
We aim to enable people to continue to live independently and to live well by ensuring they have information, opportunities and services to support them. This network will consist of understanding and promoting existing provisions/services, and identifying gaps in provision for older people and working with local organisations and communities to fill them.
