About this venue

The Lychpit Community Hall is a Grade II listed building in what used to be called Little Basing. Originally Lychpit Hall was the North Barn. This fabulous historic building has the most wonderful wooden framed ceiling, deep brick walls with the original vertical vents now glassed to provide daylight. The spacious hall is kept warm using under floor heating and the vaulted ceiling is complimented by individually adjustable lighting. The entire hall has lovely wooden flooring (suitable for dancing).
The hall is a popular venue for children’s birthday parties, small wedding receptions, anniversary celebrations, groups and clubs. It is licensed for entertainment & the sale of alcohol.

There is a Committee Room equipped with desk and easy chairs - suitable for one-to-one consultations.

Available daytime and evenings 7 days a week. Bank Holidays available by arrangement.
The Kitchen is fitted with an electric cooker, fridge, tea urn and microwave oven.
Toilet facilities include a separate disabled toilet with baby changing unit.
