Steeped in history and visited over the centuries by the likes of King Henry VIII and Jane Austen, National Trust’s The Vyne is hosting three outdoor cinema screenings and two outdoor theatre performances in July and August.

With the option of VIP tickets, artisan pizza and indulgent hot drinks to get your evening off to a great start, Adventure Cinema will showcase West Side Story on 15 July, Mamma Mia! on 16 July (Sold Out) and The Rocky Horror Picture Show on 17 July. Offering contrasting takes on the Shakespearian play, on 23 July, The Pantaloons will perform their playful adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing while on 6 August, as per time-honoured tradition, the all-male cast of The Lord Chamberlain’s Men will perform As You Like It in Elizabethan costume. All events will take place on the north lawn by the lake. Don’t forget to bring your picnics, camping chairs, torches and blankets for when the sun goes down.
