An opportunity for charities and community groups to find out more data protection including GDPR
In this two hour interactive session Zoe Findon from Purple Patch PMO will be helping local charities and community groups to understand data protection including GDPR. This session will take place at The Orchard, White Hart Lane RG21 4AF on Wednesday 5 October 2022 at 12:00pm.
Key Objective: Provide a good basis in the principles and practice of Data Protection – including GDPR
Agenda:
- Why data protection
- The basis of data protection laws
- Practical ways to look at the personal information you hold and what you need to tell people when you ask for it.
- What are your obligations once you have the data.
- Key resources and information that exist to assist you further in this.
At the end of the training the attendees should be able to conduct a data audit to demonstrate how they are protecting individuals data.
