Volunteer Minibus Driver

Parity for Disability provides expert, award-winning services and support for adults with complex physical, learning and communication needs, including those with profound and multiple disabilities. Transport is an essential requirement for most people. Parity for Disability have a fleet of wheelchair accessible vehicles that allow the adults we support to access leisure, social and learning activities and opportunities.

Volunteer Minibus Drivers will provide travel between Parity for Disability’s day services in Farnborough, Mytchett and Camberley, and various destinations

Responsible to: Services Manager

What skills do I need?

We are looking for volunteer drivers who have the following qualities:

• Friendly, empathetic nature
• Willingness to help others
• Available at short notice
• Between the ages of 21 and 75 years
• Must hold a full driving license
• Must have held the driving license for at least 2 years
• If you are over 70, you will need to meet the Group 2 medical standards for driving.
• Willing to undertake a disclosure and barring Service (DBS check) if required
