Our Social Group Volunteers help create a warm, welcoming and enjoyable environment for people living with dementia and their carers. You'll support with serving tea and coffee, helping with arts and crafts activities, encouraging participation in cognitive stimulation games such as dominoes and Rummikub, and most importantly, spending time chatting and building relationships with group members. We're looking for friendly, patient and compassionate individuals with good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to help others feel valued, included and connected.
