We have a lunch club every Thursday 11am to 2pm and require more volunteers to help with the running of it on the day. We are looking for volunteers willing to spare a few hours on a Thursday. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness and order in the café, and providing friendly and efficient customer service.

We are looking for friendly and welcoming volunteers to help support our team 

This is a much-needed service for the seniors in the area and any support you could offer would be greatly appreciated. If you are interested in cooking and would like to help cook the food, we would be able to fund you getting your L2 food hygiene certificate.

What skills do I need?

Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, approachable, and able to provide excellent customer service.

  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with customers and team members.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to take on various tasks as needed and adapt to changing situations.
  • Reliability: Punctual and committed to fulfilling scheduled shifts.
  • Basic Food Handling: Knowledge of or willingness to learn basic food safety and hygiene practices.

There will also be training opportunities such as Food hygiene.
