Interested in conservation and like to get stuck into hands-on tasks? Then this opportunity will allow you to get involved with a team of conservation volunteers near Crondall.
The site is not generally open to the public and has limited access routes through it so there will be an element of “trail blazing” at times, and we will also carry out regular surveys to assess progress. Activities will vary seasonally including coppicing in winter, coppice protection, path clearance, meadow clearance & other tasks.
The project runs every Tuesday throughout the year and in most weather conditions.
Experience using
loppers and bowsaws would be useful but not essential.
