We are currently looking for a volunteer to support our Serendipity Community Group in Basingstoke.
We need organised and passionate individuals who want to support and/or facilitate community groups for autistic adults in their local community.
Our groups are designed to help autistic adults to meet in a welcoming and non-judgmental setting. We need friendly and caring volunteers to make this happen.
What you will be doing?
The existing Basingstoke Serendipity Community Group runs twice a month on Mondays from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
We are also starting a brand new second group which will be held on a weekday evening, twice a month, from 5pm to 7pm.
Full training for the role will be provided with regular quarterly training sessions.
Whilst we value regular commitment, you will be joining a team, so you do not need to be available for every session. Please make your availability known to Autism Hampshire staff when registering your interest.
