To help understand current and future childcare services for parents and carers and their children within the Hampshire County Council area, HCC would like to hear the views and experiences of parents and carers via their new survey: Hampshire Parental Demand Childcare Survey

Hampshire County Council produces a Childcare Sufficiency Report on the availability and sufficiency of childcare in their area. Parental choice is one of the most influencing factors that affects the childcare market’s demand and supply. The results of this survey will help to support this report.

Hampshire County Council are looking for views from all parents and carers of children aged 0-16 years about how they use childcare, how this has changed over the course of the Covid-19 pandemic, and how this may continue to change in the future. The childcare options covered by the survey include pre-schools, nurseries, childminders, before and after school clubs and holiday clubs.

The survey is open until 29th May 2022 and can be completed here: Hampshire Parental Demand Childcare Survey
