About this event
We will be joined by Alison Zarecky, The Climate Change Project Officer at Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council. Alison will be talking about sustainability and will be talking about the types of things you could consider in your buildings and introduce you to the Solar Wizard which can calculate solar potential. She will also talk about the Community Infrastructure Funding grant which is launching soon, which could be an opportunity for some sustainable projects.
We are also pleased to be partnering with Action Hampshire who will be sharing countrywide information on all things Community Buildings. There'll be an opportunity to share ideas and challenges with others from community buildings.
Attending this meeting will give groups an opportunity to:
• Promote their group and share their information with others.
• Exchange ideas, knowledge and experience.
• Share successes and issues.
• Link up with other organisations for collaborative projects or partnership working.
• Obtain information about the latest developments affecting voluntary and community groups, both in the borough, countywide and nationally.
