Our local staff are working by phone, in writing and online to support people affected by dementia. Local dementia advisers offer information and practical guidance to help people understand dementia, cope with day-to-day challenges, and prepare for the future. Dementia advisers are there to explain about the condition as well as signposting people to the support services available. Face to face visits can also be arranged as appropriate.
About Alzheimer's Society Basingstoke & District Office
Offers support for people living with dementia as well as support and advice for carers, family and friends. We provide information on local support and health services and campaign for better services and new treatments to be made available. We have support groups and Singing for the Brain groups and can provide 1:1 support via telephone, email or homes visits from our Dementia Support Workers.
