Basingstoke Hockey Club, a member of England Hockey sports club, is a family orientated club, who strive to give members the level of hockey they are capable of. Good training is provided for all members whatever their ability from the age of 5 onwards with all training being held on astroturf.
We have 180 members, enabling us to field 7 Men's teams, 6 ladies teams, 5 youth teams and a mixed team. We are represented in a range of local and southern leagues running training sessions for children from 5 to 14 every weekend through term-time. Voted Basingstoke Sports Club of the Year in 2001 and Hampshire Sports Club of the Year in 2017.
BHC has the benefit of being able to use a lovely large clubhouse overlooking down grange sports complex at the weekends members and their families enjoy watching and playing. There are regular social events, including a Pub Quiz, End of Season and Christmas Dinners plus plenty more!
During the daytime, tea and coffee facilities are always available in our conservatory, as well as high chairs and toys for the children, in their own special area.
The clubhouse is available for Hire in the community with bar and refreshments area and a Large Meeting Room with a capacity for 225. Email bookings@basingstoke-hockey.com
