Going to the theatre with young children is a wonderful experience. One that should be accessible to all families.
Theatre brings communities together.
We want to create positive core memories to those who have been through or are facing difficult times. We aim to work with local children’s charities to provide free performances for those who would most benefit.
We want to develop a pay what you can scheme which will hopefully encourage more families and those with larger families to attend.
Those on low income and in crisis often miss out on positive experiences as a family, we believe childhood is an important time that can not be missed. So we want to ensure these experiences are available to all regardless of social or economic status.
Families who have children with additional needs are often reluctant to take their children to traditional theatre, we want to create relaxed performances where they feel welcomed and included.
