About

Shipinnarts is a new small music/arts and wellbeing venue.

We are within The Ship Inn Country Hotel and we use the pub area for all our events. The pub has stopped trading now. The hotel is still run as a bed and breakfast. We aim to encourage the arts and nurture the mind with lots of different types of events. We have been running since March 2022 and have had lots of different events here. We are in the process of becoming a charity. Our maximum capacity is 40 people seated for our events, so booking early is essential.

We offer Open Mics on the first Friday of each month (except Jan, Apr, Aug and Dec) - this is at 7pm - 10pm and Free,. bar is open. We also offer Craft sessions, whereby a craft is suggested and can be taught, bring own lunch 11am - 2pm Tuesdays, monthly £5 a session. Wellbeing sessions, topics chosen for each month and held on Fridays - 11am - 2pm, bring own lunch, this is Free. We have events on monthly, held in the afternoon on Saturday, or the evening, occasionally Friday evening - tickets are normally £12 unless otherwise specified. Bar is open, light refreshments are not included in the ticket price, there is a donation pot.

For more details about our events look on our website: shipinnarts.org and there you will see a header for Events and also Wellbeing.
