About Adventure Ranger Corp

The Adventure Ranger Corp (A.R.C) is a uniformed charity youth group for 8-18yr olds that aims to promote teamwork and leadership skills through military style training and youth activities.

Founded in 1993, we have a dedicated team of adult volunteers that aim to achieve fun and engaging activities with our young people (Rangers). Meeting weekly, our Rangers learn a range of subjects including basic first aid, skill at arms, map reading, sports & team building, and a focus on military style techniques such as Section Battle Drills, Camouflage and Concealment, Ambush Drills and more.

Every other month we offer a military weekend camp, where Rangers put their skills to the test, either competing with other sections across A.R.C, or with them to fulfil the objectives they have been set. As well as the military camps, we offer youth activities, which include rock climbing, kayaking, swimming, countryside walking and more – aiming to get young people to enjoy the outdoors.

Our Rangers can also get stuck in helping the community, for example with our long service helping of car parking for events such as the Treacle Fair, Kite Festival and Popley Festival.

Rangers work their way through our award scheme, building depth of knowledge on our subjects to keep learning interesting and challenging. Rangers who show good leadership can also work their way through our Rank Structure, where they will help lead sections and share their knowledge amongst other Rangers whilst setting a good example and maintaining discipline.

We have three units (Addresses on the 'Store' tab of our page).
Tadley - Tuesdays 7pm to 9pm
Popley, Brighton Hill - Thursdays 7pm to 9pm

Each session is £3, with the first night a free taster session.
There are no waiting lists, so feel free to come along to any of the units so your young person can get a feel of the group and for you to ask more information. Alternatively, feel free to Facebook message or email us!
