The garden at The Orchard is a lovely communal space for Orchard Residents and visitors, however the pond area was looking very tired and had become an area of the garden that was no longer being used.
It was for this reason BVA applied for a grant for a local B&Q team to come in and tidy up the area via Neighbourly. The team were delighted to find out the application had been successful, as B&Q receive thousands of requests for help.
The Basingstoke team visited last week and worked tirelessly over two days transforming the area with plants, paint and lighting generously donated by B&Q.
The BVA team would like to say a HUGE thank you to the Basingstoke B&Q team for transforming the pond area. This space can now be enjoyed by the Orchard Residents, visitors, and the wider community. We are pretty sure this will be everyone’s favourite spot now!
