SOUP! is a community fundraising event designed to support local charities and projects, and have a bit of fun at the same time.
At each event audience members will listen to pitches from a selection of local good causes while eating delicious soup. After the pitches, the audience is encouraged to discuss and debate before voting. They then vote on which project they think will benefit their area.
Thanks to funding from Sovereign Network Group, a pilot is being run in South Ham/Buckskin.
Our first event is on Tuesday, 30th April so if you are looking to kickstart an idea or project that will be for the benefit of residents of South Ham or Buckskin now is your opportunity to apply for an opportunity to get up to £500 towards your project.
Never pitched before? Don’t worry Basingstoke Voluntary Action are offering all groups chosen to pitch free 1:1 mentoring.
