As the heart of BVA’s mission to connect people with meaningful ways to give their time, the Volunteer Hub offers tailored guidance, practical resources and friendly one‑to‑one conversations.
Volunteers will be able to meet our team, get advice, and assistance registering to the Volunteer North Hampshire platform. It is an opportunity to discuss the kind of activities you enjoy, how often you would like to give your time so we can help connect you with the right volunteering opportunities.
The Volunteer Hub now runs out and about in the community – dates, times and locations of upcoming hubs can be found in the table below.
The Volunteer Hub has gone out into the Community! Come along to one of our drop-in sessions to chat with the team and find out more about how you can volunteer in your local community. There is no need to book just pop in

We are delighted to have received a grant from the Shanley Foundation to support our Community Volunteer Hubs over the next 12 months. By taking the Hub out into community venues and events across the borough, BVA has seen real success in reaching new audiences, meeting people where they are, and encouraging more residents to get involved in local volunteering. These sessions have helped break down barriers, spark new connections and support organisations to find the volunteers they need. Thank you to Shanly Foundation for awarding us with this grant – it will ensure we can continue to spread the word about all the brilliant local volunteering opportunities out there.
