Toyota Parasport Fund

Up to £200,000 will be available in each year of the fund, with awards of between £1,000 and £5,000 to help ensure that when disabled people are active, they have access to quality equipment to help give them the best possible experience. The window for applications is now open and closes at 5pm on 20th December, 2019.

Nationwide Community Grants

The Nationwide Community Grants programme awards grants of up to £50,000 to local housing projects. Charities, Community Land Trusts and housing co-operatives can apply. The deadline to submit an application is Midday on the 22nd November 2019.

One Stop – Carriers for Causes

One Stop – Carriers for Causes – Grants of up to £1000 are available to support projects that ‘benefit local communities’. These are available for good causes within two miles of a One Stop shop.

The £5 million Carers Innovation Fund will invest in innovative ways of supporting unpaid carers, outside of mainstream health and care services. This funding will be used to improve support across the country and help build more carer-friendly communities.

Village Hall Improvement Grant Fund

Village hall committees are now able to apply for grants of up to £75,000 towards refurbishment and alteration of their buildings. The new funding will cover 20% of the total costs of a project. The application must be a village hall or similar rural community building and a registered charity. New build projects will not be eligible to apply to the fund due to their high costs and long timescales.

The Homeless Link Social Investment Fund has, over three years, £4.5m to invest in charities and social enterprises working to reduce homelessness across England. They also offer Enterprise Grants – to help homelessness sector organisations make a transition to new enterprise models or to grow existing ones.

£1.35m Funding for Pocket Parks in England

Community-led organisations working in partnership with local authorities across England can apply now for grants of up to £15,000 for new pocket parks,£25,000 for refurbishment of existing parks split between capital and revenue. The deadline for applications is 31st December 2019 (5pm).
