The Hampshire County Council Short Breaks programme will give parents or full-time carers an opportunity to have a short break from caring to take part in training, leisure activities, day-to-day tasks, or education, and enable children and young people with disabilities and/or additional needs to join in with safe, fun and interesting activities. Open until 12 noon on 6th June 2019.
The Police and Crime Commissioner, Michael Lane, has an ambition, through his Commissioning and Partnerships Team, to reduce offending and support victims, enabling people to realise their life potential without being drawn into the Criminal Justice System. The Safer Communities Fund is open for applications for funding until the 7th June 2019.
Village hall committees are now able to apply for grants of up to £75,000 towards refurbishment and alteration of their buildings. The new funding will cover 20% of the total costs of a project. The application must be a village hall or similar rural community building and a registered charity. New build projects will not be eligible to apply to the fund due to their high costs and long timescales.
The Homeless Link Social Investment Fund has, over three years, £4.5m to invest in charities and social enterprises working to reduce homelessness across England. They also offer Enterprise Grants – to help homelessness sector organisations make a transition to new enterprise models or to grow existing ones.
The Trust works with community based organisations that works directly with older people to provide extra support to make their daily life easier. They offer two grant schemes, one based around projects, and the other around buildings and physical infrastructure.
Localgiving is delighted to offer charitable organisations the opportunity to apply for grants of £500. The Magic Little Grants Fund provides local charities and community groups the opportunity to access funding to deliver physical activities. Deadline for applications is 30th November 2019.
