Village hall committees are now able to apply for grants of up to £75,000 towards refurbishment and alteration of their buildings. The new funding will cover 20% of the total costs of a project. The application must be a village hall or similar rural community building and a registered charity. New build projects will not be eligible to apply to the fund due to their high costs and long timescales.

Community-led organisations working in partnership with local authorities across England can apply now for grants of up to £15,000 for new pocket parks,£25,000 for refurbishment of existing parks split between capital and revenue. The deadline for applications is 31st December 2019 (5pm).
The small grants programme supports grassroot community-based projects. The maximum award is £5,000 and the average is £1,500. The Grants committee meets three times a year.
The M&S Energy Community Energy Fund is offering £10,000 for community renewables and energy efficiency measures. On the 16th May, we begin our search for community groups that are committed to being environmentally conscious and that are installing some renewable technology or energy efficiency measures in their endeavour to do so.
