The Police and Crime Commissioner, Michael Lane, has an ambition, through his Commissioning and Partnerships Team, to reduce offending and support victims, enabling people to realise their life potential without being drawn into the Criminal Justice System. The Safer Communities Fund is open for applications for funding until the 7th June 2019.
Village hall committees are now able to apply for grants of up to £75,000 towards refurbishment and alteration of their buildings. The new funding will cover 20% of the total costs of a project. The application must be a village hall or similar rural community building and a registered charity. New build projects will not be eligible to apply to the fund due to their high costs and long timescales.
The Foundation is a charity with a mission to raise the standards of private rented housing management. Currently grants are available for – Promoting knowledge of landlords’ obligations – Promoting knowedge of tenants’ rights and responsibilities. The deadline for this round of funding is 5pm on 1st February 2019.
We’re offering grants of up to £5,000 for projects that will provide an on-going service for local communities. So whether you want to support a youth club or start a class for older members of your community, our fund is here to help. Rural communities with projects off the mains gas grid can submit a project for funding. The fund is currently closed and will reopen in 2019.
