At our Community Hub in Popley, we will be having a game of bingo at 11am. The bingo caller will be a friendly, welcoming face to our customers, making them feel comfortable and enjoy playing Bingo. The volunteer will help to play a key role in connecting people in the local community and in helping by talking to people who may be suffering from loneliness.
The Community Hub is open 1 st and 3rd Thursdays in the month and is a vital link, giving the older members of the local community an opportunity to meet others. The Hub offers a offers a wide selection of cakes, toasted tea cakes, and light snacks. And freshly prepared hot lunch and pudding.
What will I be doing?
As a Bingo caller, you will be:
• Setting up the activity
• Call out the bingo numbers with clarity, energy and enthusiasm
• Create a welcoming, fun and engaging environment for the customs
• Assist in awarding prizes
We are looking for people who can engage easily in conversation and who:
