Grants between £2,000 – £5,000 are now available to support local voluntary and community organisations that are helping vulnerable people impacted by the Covid-19 crisis.
This e-learning has been created by Hampshire County Council as a free resource for the VCSE sector in Hampshire and is aimed at volunteers, informal carers, or anyone whose work in the community involves contact with potentially vulnerable people.
The Gas Safe Charity is offering a free, online Zoom workshop aimed at front line staff and volunteers who visit or work in the homes of vulnerable people.

The Basingstoke and Deane Council have pulled together a directory that’s aimed at people aged over 55 living in Basingstoke and Deane. This directory aims to provide information that both helps and encourages people to find organisation’s and get involved! This can mean finding help in various aspects of your life, such as activities, care and finances.
Sovereign Housing are joining forces with Creative Youth Network to bring together young people from across Sovereign to be part of our decision-making processes. They are looking for young residents between 18-25 years old and passionate about their home and community to join their panel.
There have been updates made on the Connect to Support Hampshire, including the Coronavirus resource page that’s being regularly reviewed and updated and contains links to a range of support services to help people affected by the current situation.
