DfE Funding Opportunity for School Holiday Provision

Organisation are now being invited to bid for grant funding from the Department of Education to take on the role of testing the coordination of free holiday provision (including healthy food and enriching activities) for disadvantaged children during the 2019 summer holidays. Hampshire County Council Public Health are keen to support interested organisations to shape their bids.

Project – This Is My Space

This is my Space is a new creative arts project that aims to support survivors of domestic abuse, people with a mental health diagnosis or those currently experiencing homelessness. Fall in the Quality of Charities’ Accounts

The Charity Commission has raised “serious concerns” about a decline in the quality of charity accounts, and has called for a “step-change” in trustees’ attitudes to public benefit reporting after discovering nearly half of all charities fail to explain what they do or the impact their work has.
