How Can We Help Promote Your Organisation?

Basingstoke Gazette

BVA, in association with the Basingstoke Gazette newspaper, promote local charities, community groups and voluntary organisations through the weekly Community in Action page free of charge.

Since starting our association with the Gazette, we have featured numerous local organisations and the work they do for our community.

The lead article, which appears at the top of the page, should be around 350 words long and be accompanied by a photograph or logo. If you have volunteering opportunities that you are looking to fill then we will include them in the Opportunity of the Week, which is part of the right hand column.

The secondary article is around 200 words with 1 photograph.

The sizes for the images are as follows:

  • Lead story: 7.2cm x 12.8cm
  • Second article: 5.8cm x 10cm

Photographs should be landscape.

If your organisation is interested in having a slot please contact us by emailing: contact@bvaction.org.uk

Advertising Online

Do you struggle to promote your community event? Would you like to be able to advertise your event to as wide an audience as possible, free of charge? Our member organisations are advised to send across the details of any events or other information that they would like advertised, which we can promote on our website and across social media.

Social Media

We dedicate our social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram to supporting groups in spreading the word and promoting the work that they do.
