FSI Offers Low Cost Training Courses in Southampton
Heavily-subsidised Small Charity Training in Southampton from £7.50.
With support from Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), the FSI (Foundation for Social Improvement) is delivering a heavily-subsidised training event in Southampton on 16th October offering small and local charities and community groups four courses on key fundraising and governance topics.
Training courses on offer include:
- Demonstrating Your Impact – Effectively demonstrating your impact to your key stakeholders such as donors, grant makers, partners, trustees, media and staff is essential for securing ongoing support for your work. This course will provide you with a range of tools and best practice tips to ensure that you are effectively measuring and communicating the difference you make to donors, funders and supporters
- An Introduction to Online Fundraising & Crowdfunding – The Internet is now used daily by 82% of adults in the UK and online fundraising is continuing to grow as an income channel for charities. This course, delivered by Localgiving, will provide an overview of how charities can raise funds online and break down the key terminology surrounding online fundraising and crowdfunding.
- Creating and Delivering a Successful Crowdfunding Campaign – In the age of social media, project crowdfunding has become a popular way for charitable groups to raise money online. This training will discuss the key terminology around crowdfunding. It will also discuss different strategies groups could use, and help participants create a delivery plan for a successful crowdfunding campaign.
- Managing Your Small Charity Finances – This full day course comprises of two modules delivered by Charities Finance Group (CFG): ‘Budgets, Management Accounts and Cash Flow Forecasting’ (morning) and ‘How to Prepare your Annual Reports’ (afternoon).
