How can you Support the Local Community?                Basingstoke & Deane Community Lottery logo

Help Local Charities Fundraise via our Community Lottery

The Basingstoke & Deane Community Lottery is set up to support local charities and voluntary organisations in raising funds. Our BanD Lottery operates on the principle of raising money within the community for the community. In this time of shrinking budgets and increased need for community support, our Community Lottery enables good causes to connect with local residents and supporters by encouraging them to donate whilst offering them a chance to win up to £25,000.

Is there a charity close to your heart that you would like to support? A ticket for the Community Lottery costs £1 per week of which 60p will go directly to your chosen charity. This is a fun and effective way of supporting the local community whilst still having the chance to win prizes, including free tickets for future draws and a range of cash prizes.

Our Community Lottery is simple to sign up for and easy to play, find out more by clicking on the blue button below:

Other Ways You Can Help Local Charities Fundraise

No cost donation sites

There are several excellent no cost donation sites which can be a simple and effective way for supporters to raise funds for a chosen charity.

With the changes in the way we do our shopping and research, there are now a number of websites where your supporters can make donations just by doing online shopping or web searches. In addition, there are also some no cost donation sites that provide more specific services.

In general, you simply set up your organisation or fundraising project with the site(s) of your choice, encourage your supporters to register to use it (remembering to tell them that there is no additional cost to them by using the site) and then every time they go shopping or web search they raise funds for your group. The more people who use it to support your cause the more money you raise.

Most will also provide tools and resources to help optimise fundraising opportunities and a network of other registered organisations who will share their hints and tips on what has been effective for them.

As with all sites always remember to check the terms and conditions and whether there are charges before signing up.
