The Programmes:

PEEP on Talking

A parenting programme based on developing language for children aged 2 & 3 years who have a speech delay but not a speech disorder.

Parents/carers come along with their children to obtain information, skills and practical ideas to support the development of their child’s
communication skills.

Session of Support (SOS)

Ask your child’s school, college, nursery, or health visitor to complete a Level 2 referral form or call the Family Support Service on 01256 776189 for further information.

SOS supports with a single issue and will help you identify where you can gain further support or which parenting course will suit you best.

Incredible Years A Positive Parenting Course covering ages 2 – 8.

Learn positive parenting techniques and gain strategies and tools to support positive behavious changes.

Speakeasy Supports parents/carers to talk confidently to children of all ages about sex and healthy relationships.

Speakeasy is a fun, relaxed and informative course.

Nurturing Programme – Parent Group A solution focused 10 week course for parents of children of all ages.

Parenting strategies and tools to equip parents to deal with the challenges of the parenting journey through the years, at various ages and stages of a child’s development.

Nurturing Programme – Talking Teens Parent Group A solution focused 4 week course.

Parenting strategies and tools to equip parents to deal with the challenges of the teenage years.

Young Stars For parents aged 25 and under.  An opportunity to meet other youmg parents and engage in current topical discussion and activities alongside your children.
HENRY Health, Exercise and Nutrition for the Really Young.

HENRY is an interactive course designed to support parents in making healthy lifestyle choices for their children.

Who’s in Charge For parents / carers of children aged 8 to 18 who present with violent and abusive behaviour or who appear to be struggling with authority and parental control.

WIC supports concrete strategies and clear boundaries to improve relationships and reduce violent and abusive behaviour.

Baby PEEP (Parent Early Education Partnership) – For parents and carers of babies aged 0 to 1.

Learn about development, routines, play and how to support your baby’s learning through their senses in the first year of their life.

Cygnet For parents / carers of children who have diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC).

An opportuniy to explre the challenges parents face and discuss topics such as sensory issues, communication, nderstanding and supporting behaviour and much more.

Anxiety Workshop For young people aged 11-17 years (6 weeks workshop).

A solution focused programme, which will explore the cause and effects of the anxiety, and support strategies to arrange this positively.

You Matter For parents up to the age of 35.

You Matter covers a range of support across all areas of parental responsibility inluding Home matters – tenancies and home safety; Money matters – Budgeting and finance; Future matters – CV building and interview skills and Life matters – Health, wellbeing and healthy relationships.

Five to Thrive A parenting approach supporting health attachment between parent and baby which promotes healthy brain growth.

4 workshops with easy to understand theory and practical activity. Helps support parents with bonding and understanding the imapct they, and the environments they provide, have on their baby’s growth, health and wellbeing.
