This fund is managed by the South Downs Volunteer Ranger Service and administered by South Downs National Park Trust. The Volunteer Conservation Fund will allocate grants of up to £5,000 annually (£2,000 is the average grant) to projects that enhance the National Park and include practical support of the Volunteer Ranger Service.
The application form, monitoring form and guidance document can be downloaded at the bottom of this page, where extra details are available. The deadline for submissions is the 31st March, 2019.
The fund has been established to support the work of volunteer groups who are carrying out projects that improve the National Park and have some practical involvement of the VRS. If the VRS is not already involved in the project then the applicant should propose in the application how they could be involved should a grant be awarded.
