Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council’s Health and Wellbeing Team offers a variety of courses, seminars and workshops specifically aimed at coaches and volunteers from sports clubs and organisations.
Sports specific ‘Emergency First Aid’ courses and Sports Coach UK ‘Safeguarding and Protecting Children’ courses run throughout the year. Both are often a mandatory requirement for coaches and clubs.
The team also organises regular free club and coach development seminars and workshops. In the past these have given advice on areas such as funding support, writing a club development plan and dealing with challenging behaviour.

Alternatively to book your place or to discuss future course/seminar requirements, please contact Amy Sambell on 01256 845752 or email@example.com
