Homeless Link – Funds and Grants

Homeless Link currently has two funding opportunities.

Social Investment Fund

Launched in May 2017, the Homeless Link Social Investment Fund has, over three years, £4.5m to invest in charities and social enterprises working to reduce homelessness across England.

Our aim is to test and learn where social investment can be most effectively used alongside other forms of funding to improve outcomes. We are looking to support organisations to:

  • increase the homelessness sector’s knowledge and experience of social investment
  • develop new models for income generation and funding
  • improve their long-term sustainability

Dedicated support and flexible loan/grant packages from £25,000 to £150,000 to help you help more homeless people.

Enterprise Grants

Enterprise Grants – to help homelessness sector organisations make a transition to new enterprise models or to grow existing ones:

  • Feasibility Grants from £5,000 – £10,000
  • Development Grants up to £50,000

Homeless Link will be working to deliver the Enterprise Development Programme with the homelessness sector. The idea is to work to inspire organisations in the homelessness sector to become more financially resilient and support those who want to transition into new enterprise models with grant funding and through a training programme.

Please note: Basingstoke Voluntary Action work closely with the local community to raise awareness of grants and also assist with advice and guidance on applications etc. If you apply for this or any other grant, please let us know via email to enable us to understand what is being applied for. Also, if you are in fact successful in receipt of any grant please let us know to enable reporting of such funding locally.
